Has anyone had an experience dealing with a chronic post laminectomy CSF leak or
a Pseudomeningocele?

Yes, I did and they told me they have such high demand it would be better to wait for an opening in Rochester since it has been over 3 months since I have been on the waiting list at Rochester site. They said they are no longer putting people on the waiting list for now.

Mayo Clinic typically schedules out three months in advance and most areas don’t offer a waitlist option. Check with the scheduler to understand when the next month of appointments opens for scheduling and when it is best to call to see if there is availability.

I am very disappointed in Mayo Rochester. I called again for perhaps the 4th time and was told that the person in charge would get back to me regarding scheduling for the CSF leak team to see me and it's been more then 2 weeks and no one got back to me. They said they would get back to me. Again imaging was sent almost 5 month ago and I was told I was on wait list, I was told at that time I would be seen late spring early summer then when I called next was told late fall early winter. I know of two people that only waited about 3 months and were called that they had an appointment. IMO it is not based on need because these 2 people are not worse then I am. So, calling the people scheduling did not help in my case and I have lost faith in Mayo.

A doctor's recommendation is superior to your request.
