Sleeping pills to fall into a deep sleep

Usually it takes me 50 minutes to somewhat over an hour to fall into a deep sleep. Are there any sleeping pills to fall into a deep sleep in a few minutes that do not have many negative side effects such as causing you to feel sleepy during the day or affecting your cognition?

I am on 100mg of Trazodone which seems to work. Helps also to do some active or strenuous work during the day. My doctor said to supplement it with Tylenol PM if I wake up during the night and can't get back to sleep.

You might want to search Trazadon and dementia in Pubmed. Also, be sure your doctor is testing your liver enzymes if you are taking Tylenol Pm regularly.

You're asking for a miracle product that doesn't exist. The closest to what you are asking for is Belsomra, which works differently than hypnotic sleeping pills, but be sure to take as small a dose as possible, even if it means halving your prescribed dose – i.e. cutting a 10 mg tab into a 5 mg tab.

It sounds like you have a life and/or work style that requires an "out-of-the-norm" sleep schedule. You need to be awake and alert in the early morning hours (2 and 3 AM) and when you are able to go to bed, you want to fall asleep quickly and deeply.

May I ask what requires you to have this sleep pattern?

I find daily excercise helps me to sleep . The days I dont I got trouble sleeping. Its annoying
