Sleep ease with melatonin and Unisom
Anyone have good sleep patterns with 5 mg of melatonin and up to 25 mg of doxylamine succinate (Unisom special - not diphenhydramine!)? Any other way to get me off clonazepam 2 mg before bedtime?

raina726, I agree that Flurazepam was the BEST for sleep... and I only took it 2-3 times a week as well, and it did seem to help the following nights after taking it. With no side effects either. 15mg was usually enough for me too. I also loved Diazepam! But when I couldn't find a replacement for Flurazepam, my old doctor recommended Lorazepam for both my issues. Anxiety and Sleep. And when I started the Lorazepam, I had been taking Ambiem and it made me addicted to it.... couldn't sleep without it. So when I started taking lorazepam, I had to take it every night to sleep. And I was so happy to be getting sleep and feeling fantastic again, I just kept taking it. Hence, got addicted fast. But I am fine with that as long as my new doctor keeps prescribing it....and she said she will, because she said I would not be able to sleep without it at this point. Thank god she doesn't want me to wean off of it. I did love Diazepam for my anxiety but since I now take lorazepam and amitriptyline everyday, my anxiety is kept in check, and I feel great! I pray you can get Flurazepam again sometime soon.
Wow...interesting. Just goes to show you everyone is different when it comes to how their body reacts to different meds.
