Should we stay away from down clothes?

I just read that people with BE and NTM should not wear or sleep under feathers or down. I had never heard that before and realize I wear down jackets in the winter and down coats when I travel where it's cold enough to need them. Have you heard that before?

@rozie83 @pacathy@mholm@sueinmn I have slept with down pillows for over 20 years. Now I do place them in a pillow protector and then the pillow cover. I don't believe they have caused me a problem. With my down pillows that is one thing for sure that I will follow Dr. Honda's philosophy on... living with BE, Bronchiectasis, and managing our surroundings and risks. I will not give up down pillows.
