Short video on nebbing saline
Hi all, I just made a video about how I nebulize saline to manage bronchiectasis. I've never actually seen a video of someone doing all this stuff, so I made one myself!

(@bronchiectasaurus) i would like to know more about how you attach the aerobica and also the other Gizmo that keeps the saline mist contained. Maybe a link to find these?

2 ReactionsThis video is the very best I’ve ever seen. I appreciate it so much as I have been wondering if I was doing my twice a day Nebulizing correctly. I didn’t realize that I can skip the Dawn dishwashing soap step and that I could reuse the distilled water for up to a week. That is awesome! What is the little drying machine called? Am also wondering about what you do about the droplets of water left in the tubing. Thank you again for this awesome video! It’s exactly what I needed.💕

1 ReactionThanks! The drying machine is a baby bottle sterilizer; I use only the top shelf and I use it only for drying, never put water in it.
Read the comments earlier on this thread to see discussion of whether it’s really okay to skip the dawn soak if you boil daily. I obviously think it is (for me, mild bilateral bronchiectasis with no mac or ntm I am aware of) but others take more precautions.
Than you for the educational video. Can you share links to the nebulizer machine you use and the drying machine at the end? Thank you.
@knubs To get rid of the droplets of water in the tubing, just disconnect the nebulizer from the tube, keeping it connected to the compressor and then turn the compressor on. It will blow out the droplets and dry the tubing. Check to make sure it's all out before you turn it off and disconnect.
