MAC and being Short of Breath

This is not late-breaking news. Just a bit of musing about how this ailment we discuss here affects us. Unloading the dishwasher this morning (yeah, I know, surprising that a dude like me would do household chores, but there it is!) Anyway I was noticing as I always do when I unload the dishwasher, how I was panting as I lifted a couple of serving plates into a wall-mounted cabinet. I suppose age is also a contributor. In any event it was certainly a reminder that those air-exchangers in my chest were in overdrive. Don

Always interested in your insightful comments. Speaking of dishwashers... I've noticed there is a spot in the corner of mine where the door opens (at the bottom) that gets a buildup of black stuff. Hard to believe anything would be there with the high temps that is used, but... I've made a mix of Clorox and water in a spray bottle and give the area a squirt pretty often to try to kill any germs, etc. that might be lingering. Also I put on a mask when I open the dishwasher after if completes it's cycle to avoid that hot steamy (maybe bacterial laced) stuff. Perfect for our lungs to absorb. Urg. Take care.

Hi dixon63, thanks for the tip. I’ll check it out. My impression is that I have a less virulent “case” than lots of Forum participants which may have resulted in me becoming a bit cavalier about being vigilant for potential dangers. Don
