Severe mitral value regurgitation with sam present
In august 2024 I was diagnosed with diastolic heart failure. My echo in march of last year showed that I my hcm Had become much Obstructive. In august , I had my first syncope episode while hitting my Forehead having a frontal scalp hemotoma. In november , I had two syncope episodes hitting the same spot on my forehead in one night. I ended up going to the emergency room where I was admitted. My echo then shared that I had systolic interior motion lvot and my mitral valve regurgitation was mild to moderate. Since then my symptoms have gotten to where most days I can barely do daily stuff such as sweep the floor. Any amount of exertion is extremely uncomfortable. I had a cardiac mri on March 11 showing Abnormal cardiac MRI:
1. The left ventricle is normal in size with normal function. LVEF = 66.5 %.
2. The right ventricle is normal in size with normal function. RVEF = 66.5 %.
3. Systolic anterior motion of the mitral valve with LVOT obstruction is present. Visually severe, posteriorly directed mitral regurgitation. Regurgitant fraction 59%.
4. Subendocardial enhancement at the basal septum. This accounts for approximately 5% of the total myocardial mass.
5. Otherwise uniformly "nulled" myocardium, signifying that there has been no prior ischemic myocardial damage.
6. This cardiac MRI is consistent with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy with the sigmoidal phenotype.
I also started Camzyos march 11th for hocm and had genetic testing done in which I tested positive for myh7 gene. My cardiologist wrote me a message saying we will discuss my mitral valve regurgitation on next visit which is April 29. Has anyone been diagnosed with having systolic anterior motion lvot and severe mitral value regurgitation? What treatment did you receive? Everything I've researched says it requires immediate intervention to surgically repair leaflets and valve. I also have diastolic heart failure, severe asymmetrical hypertrophy severe enlargement of left atrium. Has anyone been diagnosed with any of these conditions and what was your treatment and prognosis? I am 54 years and feel like I won't live long enough to see my 1st grandbaby 2nd bday(he will be 1 April 11.

You mention an April 29 cardiology appointment. What did you find out?
