@tonyakimb

I go back to work Tuesday, April 1st. I am really anxious but will not know how I will do until I get back.

Hi, @sue1986 - I applaud you for going to the ER to get checked out. I'm sorry you had to stay in the hospital for the SCAD with a brand new baby.

When was the last time you had the chest pain for 30 minutes and went to the ER? Has this recurred after being given another medication at the ER that time?

It was 3/2, no, the second time I went to ER the doctor said it was not a recurrent, it just healing, but to help the pain they just gave me one more medication then sent me home.

@lisalucier work went well, I am having some back pain now from a pinched nerve and a bulging disc that I started having problems with last year. Not getting much sleep at night because of the pain. My cardiologist says the only pain meds I can take is Tylenol and I think my body is immune to it now. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon on the 10th.

@tonyakimb - glad to hear that your day back at work went well.

Since you are dealing with back pain from a pinched nerve and bulging disc, you might want to check out the Mayo Clinic Connect Spine Health support group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/spine-health/.

One conversation you might want to check out related to a bulging disc and back pain is this one:

-I dont know what to do about my pain
https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/i-dont-know-what-to-do-about-my-pain/
If you search in the discussion search in the Spine Health group (not the search at the very top of the page, but the discussion search right above the list of all the discussions), I'm confident you will find many more discussions about back issues that may relate to your current situation for which you're consulting the neurosurgeon.
