Restasis for Dry Eye

Posted by Nancy C @nac1, Dec 27, 2024

My insurance has stopped covering Restasis which is very expensive. The generic is $200 a month. Anyone have a suggestion for a substitute? I also take medication for Glaucoma and eye pressure.

My insurance wouldn't approve Restasis, so my doctor prescribed cyclosporine.
I get it through Express Scripts - $13 for a 3 month supply.

My Restasis is $47 for 60. I use each vial 2-3x. Maybe you could change your insurance???

My insurance doesn’t cover Restasis either. All these years I have been getting my prescription from the Canadian pharmacy. I just got 90 vials for $127 (Brand name). Generic is cheaper but my doctor doesn’t recommend it
