Really struggling on increase dose of Venlafaxine

Hi I have been given an increase in my medication of Venlafaxine from 150mg to 225mg am really struggling with nervous tummy and fight or flight mode every morning am on day 24 is this normal

I would let my doctor know that. Sometimes it takes several tries to get the right med. SSRI, SNRI's, others, do different things. If you are experiencing anxiety on the SSRI, you may need an SNRI. I take the lowest dose of duloxetine (generic Cymbalta) 30 mg, every morning. I find that it calms me down. Write down what and when you start feeling certain ways, when you took the medication, with or without food and definitely talk to your prescriber. It can take a while to find the right medication. Hang in there.

@diverdown1 thank you for your reply I definitely will have a word with my gp cause it’s a horrible feeling first thing in the morning they did tell me a week ago to take 2mg diazepam and it would help to calm it down.
