What questions should I ask a prospective MAC doctor?
I’m trying to determine which doctor will be best for me. Do you have suggestions for questions to ask before scheduling an appointment? I have bronchiectasis and MAC and have been referred to ID doctor. Any important screening questions will be appreciated.

@marianm44 I found the following two links that may be helpful as you put your list of questions together.

Also, I wanted to share in case it is of interest, that at Mayo Clinic the pulmonologists of the Mycobacterial and Bronchiectasis Clinic work closely with a multispecialty team that includes doctors in infectious diseases, cardiovascular medicine, dermatology, chest (thoracic) surgery and other specialties as needed. This type of collaboration may help to reduce the burden of you determining the "right" doctor for you.

I am sure members such as @sueinmn @thumperguy and @rits may have some great suggestions as well!
Are you feeling overwhelmed with how to find the right doctor?
Somewhat overwhelmed. Think I have 3 options- one in my current healthcare system, one at a teaching/research university and Mayo Jacksonville. All say they are involved with MAC. Rochester would be a third option but much more difficult to access.
