PVCs back again
Hi, pvctom here,
Just wanted to say hi and mention my dreaded nighttime PVCs are back..been slowly sneaking up on me…god I hate these uncomfortable sensations…thank god I’m over 8 months since my THR..now on top of morning fears and worry, I can almost guarantee these things happen later in the evening…belching and bad digestion doesn’t help…I get to see my psychiatrist this Wednesday about the morning fears…glad I can come here to write something to somebody…hope everyone here has a peaceful nice Christmas…

@713j I am at that burden. I have a pacemaker and it should be paced at 98%. It paces at 92% because of the hundreds of thousands of PVCs I get.
What works for me is to get physically tired. I am an exerciser (cleared to do) and find that I am very relaxed from it and helps me relax and go to sleep. I also use reading to tire my brain out and get sleepy. Just pick a good book though so your mind focuses on the book not your PVCs.
I do take magnesium.
I do notice caffeine and alcohol can really affect me.
Thanks for those ideas. Do you take any magnesium? If how many mgs.
Thanks for your wonderful reply .. I’m in awe of people who have the guts to continue and trudge the road like you do…my PVCs drive me crazy when they are in a really bad cycle…👍
I had an EL study done in ‘99 because of my continuous episodes of PVCs…the doctor first did a signal average monitor and it was positive do they did the EP study..results were negative…in all the years I’ve had them, never can get over the anxiety they cause when they’re at their worst….👍🙏
@713j , My EP recommended I take 400 mg of magnesium once a day.
I had read some on MCC talking about potassium helping so I asked about that. EP replied that according to my recent blood test my potassium was at the high end of normal so would not recommend taking a supplement.
I think important you talk to your EP or cardiologist before taking any supplements but don't hesitate to asked them if they can help. Anything that can help is my opinion is worth exploring.
Ok ,I also take 300mg of magnesium glycinate throughout the day. I take also v8 vegetable juice low sodium which has 1290mg of potassium. Just started on both of them. We’ll see if it works at all. Also started deep breathing throughout the day
I also have PVC's. I take triple magnesium complex 400mg. I get it from CVS. It's a powder in a capsule. Cardiologist recommended magnesium years ago. I am also on 25 mg metoprolol.
I posted once before my question has anyone ever been hypnotized to not feel these PVCs and PACs?
Does that magnesium reduce your PVCs. My burden is2%
