Post COVID skin conditions: What can I do to control the reactions?

Posted by mromeo762 @mromeo762, Jan 28, 2022

Living on steroids and Benadryl 2 weeks post covid because I keep having allergic reactions and rashes show up randomly. How long will this last? What can I do to help control the reactions? Getting really discouraged.

mromeo762-- did your rash ever resolve? I'm experiencing huge hives-- like dinner plate size-- on neck, legs, chest, back, abdomen. On High dose benadryl, zyrtec ( 20 mg BID), pepcid 10 mg, and singular at bedtime. Two days ago I had full blown angio edema. Going to try a medrol dose pack as I can't live like this.

It's been 2yrs for me I break out in rashes still to this day it's horrible and not a way to live. I was just in the E.R this past Sunday for this rash again. I am now being tested for autoimmune disease. Baking soda baths do help relieve the itching. Do use anything scented for me it makes it worse. I am sorry your going threw this hopefully some day we can get answers
