Please quit smoking
I quit smoking one day. I just decided I'd had enough. I set my brand new pack of cigarettes on the table and never smoked a cig again. I used nicotine patches, sometimes 2 or 3 on those days I got cravings. My doctor said they were way less dangerous than smoking and that I could use the patches as needed. It's been 11 years and since that day I have never had another cigarette. Yay Me! I know it won't help everyone. But you just have to suck it up, put them down and quit. Use patches, the strongest ones), lozenges, gum, whatever, just quit killing yourself, please.

Yay for you!!!! I quit in 2007 I'm at 19 years! Next year I'm going to Miami for a couple of weeks to celebrate 20 years! My parents both smoked and their lives were significantly shortened because they smoked all the way to the end. I wish they had quit in their 40's like me. I used Chantix I'm not sure they still make it but it worked beautifully for me. I had a pack of smokes also because I thought it's my choice to not smoke it's not because I have to. And then it was day by day each day was a goal "don't' smoke today" and before I knew it months had passed and I was done with smoking. One thing to think about for smokers is how much it costs to smoke back when I smoked I figured if I lived to be 78 and smoked all those years I would have spent 70k plus on cigarettes. today that number would be 210K. Pick up a smoke and think 210k or this stinky cig! Addiction is a mind game too, once you beat an addiction you become incredibly powerful with the course of your life. It's a trifecta win!!!!

Good day, So glad to hear that you put them down.... I am a three time cancer survior and have quit for about a year and a half. I am using two patches a day plus the spray. Its a hard choice to have made but it is the best thing I ever did for my own health. I went thru the Mayo Stop Smoking program twice since the first cancer 15 years ago. I think the best I can do now being smoke free is to help others to quit. Keep up the great work and thank you for posting.
