In 2000 I had my first symptom and I didn't pay attention to it as serious.
I was at work one day back then and I felt falling down dizzy and blurred vision. After a few minutes I returned to normal. The next episode occurred in 2017 while shopping at Target, it too passed after a few minutes.
In 2019 I suddenly developed high blood and ocular pressure. I had never had high blood pressure previously
I have headaches quite often for days. When I'm upset I will sweat profusely and have this anxious feeling and don't know why. I used to joke about being an adrenaline junkie when I was young because of how aggressive and physically active I was. Only taking HBP meds and Glaucoma eye drops.
The crazy thing is I found out by accident that I had the tumors.
In 2012 I went in for an MRI of my kidneys and they saw them. In 2018 I was reviewing my medical records which I had to pay for and saw the notations. I was never notified by anyone. I had to ask the doctor about it before there was any investigation!

Good work! I so appreciate your post. This points out the need for each person to their own advocate for health care. The medical environment is stretched to the limit these days and all of us need to follow up on our medical care.
I'm glad that you reviewed your report and then talked about it with your doctor. I always look at my medical reports on the patient portal and look for anything out of the "normal" range. These are usually highlighted with a "H" for high or a "L" for low. If my doctor does not contact me, then I usually send a message to the doctor's office through the patient portal to be sure that all is OK.
I love my patient portal as well. I was reading my ct chest report and I saw I had an adrenal mass- unchanged since 2019(it was 2021). No one ever told me I had an adrenal mass- and to be fair when my scan in 2019 was done I was having major health issues and heart surgery. So I just casually asked my cardiologist about it, and she immediately wanted it checked- she just assumed since it was seen on an earlier scan I knew about it. But when the radiologist in 2019 read the scan they didn’t see or didn’t care to put in the impression- so luckily the radiologist in 2021 did. And if I hadn’t spoke up and asked about it, my docs would have just kept assuming one of my other docs was addressing it. I am seeing an endocrinologist now and am scheduled for a surgical appointment in July. It’s not because I have bad docs things just can get missed, and no one is a better advocate than the patient themselves. I am a nurse- and my husband is a physician- we know the faults in our system and we both love the health care facilities that provide a portal for patients to view their records. Most of the time it only helps the patient and their care.

1 ReactionAt least one of my Adenomas is 4cm and no one really discussed removal. The Doctors recommended imaging every year or two but they are growing slowly.
