Persistent tricep twitch

Hello everyone,
I am a 55 yo male who is experiencing a twitching hotspot in my left tricep for the past 6 weeks. It fires every 3 to 7 seconds. It started after I played golf on a Sunday. I noticed my arm was a little sore in the elbow area. That Wednesday I went to the gym and did some tricep pull downs. My arm/elbow was sore but I pushed through the workout. A day or so later the twitching started and hasn't stopped. It is driving me crazy. I'm trying not to go down the rabbit hole, but it's hard.
My doctor isn't concerned and told me some people twitch. I had a two month bout of twitching in my right pec a year and a half ago. It eventually faded but this one is more constant. I also get twitches throughout my body (legs, calves, hands) but those are quick flutters and then go away.
I went to an occupational therapist a few days ago and he said there isn't anything he can do. He showed me a few stretches to try and see if they help. He did measure my grip strength which is 125 lbs. According to him that is really good for a 55yo man. Any thoughts or insights would be greatly appreciated. My health anxiety is severly affecting my quality of life.

I would call a neurologist and see what there thoughts would be.

You might try taking a magnesium supplement daily. Magnesium Glycinate helps muscles relax and is very well tolerated. Try 300-400mg per day and see if it helps. Absolutely do some research on magnesium before starting, just to take in some of the benefits it can bring. A good source would be any of Dr. Eric Berg’s videos on magnesium (YouTube). Good luck!
