Penile Vein Issues

I have a vein that runs from the base of my penis, along the underside, then stops right at the head. A doctor noticed it and called it a "distended vein."

It doesn't really hurt, though masturbation can be a little tricky and if I don't wear my tight undergarments, it can feel a little uncomfortable due to it rubbing up against the material.

I have been diagnosed with varicocele, but I am not sure if it has anything to do with it. I did see a urologist and she said it could be fixed, if I am willing to go through some really invasive surgery. hehe

I am planning on just living with it, but am curious if others have a similar issue.
