Penile constriction rings: How effective are they against climacturia?

Bumping to see if someone has experience with this.

Have used constriction rings with a prescrbed vacuum pump; not recommended for more than 30 minutes. Kept penis hard enough for penetration but it was cold and unnatural, in my opinion, to the touch. I used it sparingly and prefer to inject though the result hasn't been as good. Good luck.

Hello yes I have a constriction ring a small one and rolled it onto the base of my penis,while it was soft, Took a 20 mg Tadafil one hour before.I bought a penis pump off Amazon did not like it seems a bit wide, it did expand my cock but seemed to hurt slightly, anyway my penis was hard enough without it to enter my partner. Also used lubrication..

Apparently the UroStop is good for climacturia.

Not that I remember. And although I still use it daily for blood flow, I no longer use the constriction bands opting for injectables instead.

@peterj116 Thank you! It looks similar to the one that came with my pump, i.e., a sling more than a ring. Are the actual rings more sex toys thsn useful for the present purpose?

I am, through necessity, interested in this too. The month before my April '25 radical prostatectomy (RP), the divorce from my wife of 32 years was finalized. I was looking forward to possibly finding a special new woman friend and potentially "wife", to include an active sex life. Up to the day before my RP, as a 70 year old man, I had a very capable/verile sexual response. I haven't had an erection in the last 10 months, including every other day use of Cialis since my RP. I have self-stimulated without erection to the point of orgasm, and was shocked those couple of times, that a rather uncontrolled and large amount of urine was ejaculated. THAT absolutely KILLED my conscious effort to "find a new woman." It would be the ultimate of humiliation to send a stream of urine into my new woman, or into a condom that couldn't hold the entire volume. So...I am growing increasingly lonely each and every day, as I await and hope for the ability to actually have an erection, that also may facilitate a dry orgasm without the urine flying out of my penis.
