Partoid gland infection

How long does it take to get rid of this infection? I'm going on two weeks and spent two days in the hospital , it's still swollen on my left side. I can't suck on lemons either so I'm stuck on what to do. It really hurts too

I question if they need to change meds. Get an appointment with your doctor. Write down questions you want to ask.

Lemon candies are wonderful for that. Also warm compresses and massaging the gland will help. Push the lower jaw from the ear towards the mouth in the massage.

I’m going through the same issue. I had an ultrasound yesterday and no stones. Next, a visit to the ENT who will probably send me for an CT/MRI. Soooo tired of this discomfort! I’ve used warm compresses, massage, which reduces the swelling, but comes back again. I fear I’m going to need surgery to fix this. Ugh…sigh.
