Hello @ntnee and welcome to Mayo Connect. I see that you just joined our online patient support group and we are happy to have you. I appreciate your question about the use of Paroxitine. This medication also goes by the names of Paxil, Pexeva, and Brisdelle. I am sure that many of our members have used this at one time or another. Some of our members who have discussed this drug specifically are @qsam61404 @carol94 @liz223. I hope that they will join in this discussion to let you know about their experiences.
Have you begun to use Paroxitine already? If so, how it is working for you?

1 ReactionI've been on it for about 20 years. Some one told me it might have bad side effects if taken for to long. It also seems to be working less well for me.Ntnee
Hi, @ntnee and @liz223 - some time back, you talked about taking paroxitine for depression. @sdgymrat also mentioned this medication. Wanted to see how if you are still on it? If so, it is working for you?

I have now been totally off of paroxetine for a month and only realize a little of anxiety, but it is March and I'm a little down because the sun isn't shining and looks as if that will be the case the next few days. Find something around your house that makes you smile for even a moment. That will grow.
Has anyone else who has stopped taking paxil still have problems with sweating?
