Parkinson's Disease

Hi, I'm new to this.I am 53 next week and I have PD 6 yrs now. Started with a slight tremor on my left hand, too today where it is progressing to my right arm . My left leg at times feels like a lead weight lately and to describe what PD actually feels like i really can't sometimes it's like im carrying my car on my back. Im so tired all the time and I feel lost but I try to stay as positive as I can and that's down to the fact I can still drive at the moment I'm on Nuepro 8mg patch and I'm on akineton 2mg 3 times a day. My check up is about n two weeks so I think meds are gonna be increased and I'm anxious about it. Thanks in advance for reading this and any advice would be great 👍

@james6, thank you for your post because I just joined this club that no one wants to belong to myself in August. I’m still in the stage of searching for advice from experienced members, and have long done the official lifestyle recommendations. Hugs and hope you find some answers!

Hello @james6, and welcome to the Parkinson's support group on Mayo Clinic Connect. Have you had your follow-up appointment yet? I was wondering if any of your medications were increased.

Are your symptoms any better now?
