Order of medication

@hazely My doctor told me to use Ohtuvayre 20 minutes after my other med.

@copdinny My Dr told be to use before and the nurse at the pharmacy told me the same thing. That o2vayre opens up the lungs for the trelegy. Guess will figure out. Right now I’m gonna wait. I do wish you luck.

I am new to this cite. I am an 84 yr old female with Stage 4 COPD. I feel good most of the time however I an hospitalized about 4 times per yr for treament of exacerbation. I share your frustration with not getting straight answers. I would like to hear about Ohtuvayre. It was prescribed in April then held due to diarrhea p, worked thru that then not given to me during my most recent hospitalization. I would love to hear your stories, concerns etc. Thanks for letting me join.

The absolute best person to ask is your pharmacist. Medicines are their businesses. I use a local mom and pop pharmacy finding there is a much more personal relationship.
I don’t use ohtuvatre, just Trelegy and albuterol. I’ll use albuterol first, wait a few mins and then the Trelegy per my pharmacist Barbara.

@anabelflaherty Ohtuvayre is dispensed by specialty pharmacies. I doubt any hospitals in the country stock it due to the high cost.

@pamelaaci yes ohtuvayre is a specialty medication, I’m on it and it gets mail directly to me

Suzyq61, how have you done on the O2vayre. Has it helped you, do you take any other medicines which do you do first. I have it here but have not used it yet, because I also started Nucala.
