Not sure of my heart condition.Advice?

Not sure. Cardiologist advised left ventricle 40% effective as heart muscle dying. I have had 3 cerebral strokes.still very active at 76 however. On medication twice daily without regime progressive deterioration would give me 1to 3 years life. Enlarged heart muscle caused by thick blood over years from plasma donations with blood thinning agent introduction at fortnightly donations. What is condition called?

Have you been formally diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)? Is your enlarged heart due to that? What medications do you take twice daily? You are in Australia, do you go to a leading heart hospital?
