If you take nitroglycerin, is it safe to use Perflutren as a dye?

Hello @dtab,

This is a pretty specific medical question that would be best answered by your provider. Because nitroglycerin can lower your blood pressure and drug interactions can get complex, it is best to sort out the possible reactions with your provider.

If you are comfortable sharing, is there a cause for the need to take the diagnostic dye?
