May I ask how old you are? Are you considering hormone replacement and have you had a dexa scan? Do you have a medical professional who is well versed in issues connected to menopause?
I wish someone had told me to seek out professional advice . I never had symptoms, but wish I had started HRT. There is new information about it. Read about the new opinions about HRT. Many doctors aren’t informed, so search for those who are. I hope you can find some help.

Are you saying no to my 3 questions after your age. The reason I asked your age is this: from my own experiences with menopause and osteoporosis I think dexa scans need to be given to women earlier. Since most osteoporosis/osteopenia is related to loss of hormones with the process of menopause (although there can be other causes) it opens a wider variety of ways to deal with bone loss or potential bone loss when diagnosed early.

This forum is a good place to do your research. Lots of good info, research links and others more than willing to share what has worked and not worked for them lots of generosity. At first, like most of us, you may be overwhelmed. But it is worth doing your own research. You are the only one that knows your body. If you can, find a menopause expert to see as a provider. We are all in this together.
What I didn’t realize was that menopause impacts so many things such as bone health, bladder, hair, skin, sleep, etc. I learned a lot from online videos of female urologists. They got me interested in HRT. I then discovered how old school recommendations had been debunked.
