New non-hormonal drug for hot flashes

Hello! I'm new here, but I wanted to share an exciting update on treatments for perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms that recently came out.

AbCellera just released news about its phase 2 clinical trial on a non-hormonal injection for moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms (night sweats and hot flashes).

It significantly reduced both the frequency and severity of hot flashes after one dose compared to the placebo.

The drug is called ABCL635, and you can find the news release on their site!

I assume they will do a phase 3 trial to make this accessible to the public ASAP. I've tried time and time again to look for clinical trial opportunities and found the platform mytrials.ai to be very helpful! If you opt in to give your email, you will have all the trials you match to sent straight to your inbox and can check them anytime.

I hope this helps at least one person going through this transitional phase in our lives!
