Anyone know the name of new antidepressant, approved by FDA, that's supposed to be available at end of this year?

@maggie1960 Auvelity is actually a combination of 105 mg buproprion and 45 mg dextromethorpan not guaifasein.
@divinewisdom28 if you can’t get it prescribed just combine the two ingredients. I do that and it is way less expensive.
@scottbeammeup that is what I do. Works well.
I’m happy the DIY combo works well for some because it can be quite expensive to get the brand name Auvelity.
However I tried the DIY myself and it did not do anything for me above normal Wellbutrin, which I have been taking on and off for years. So I just wanted to throw it out there, it may be worth trying to get the brand name if you’re interested in trying it.
Personally I do not like Auvelity because I had very bad side effects. I am glad for people that find it helpful though. We don’t have enough things that really help people with mood disorders.

1 ReactionI have been on Buproprion for years and it helped my anhedonia and now I have added 45 mg dextromethorpan ( to make it the same as Auvelity. For 4 days and am waiting.

1 Reaction@ashleyharris728 what side effects did you have? I only have physical fatigue and it helps my gastrointestinal tract.
@cynthiaefs so many but the worst were depression, feelings of being drunk/high, and complete memory loss. That one was the worst, not realizing until months afterward that huge parts of my memory did not exist while I was taking the med.
