Anyone using naturopathic medicine for MAC/ bronchiectasis for those NOT choosing the big 3 antibiotics??

Hi, I was diagnosed approximately 9 years ago with BE/MAC. 2 years ago I sought out a naturopath and it was very helpful. Unfortunately due to the cost I had to stop seeing him. I have always tried to do things holistically, although also recognize the need for western medicine with this disease.

@irismargaret Actually, the "prescription" for managing Bronchiectasis is the best natural approach one can take in managing their own care.
That is airway clearance with 7% saline, exercise, diet, and managing symptoms of other conditions like GERD, Asthma, allergies, sinusitis, etc.
I know you have gotten an Aerobika with manometer - how is that working for you?

Hi Sue
Thanks for your input but I’ve been doing Aerobika /saline nebs /manometer etc for MAC /mild bronchiectasis since day one and I rarely have mucus to clear .My GERD /allergies are all under control too.I was just interested in possible naturopathic adjuncts to what I’m already doing. Thanks for your interest .
