My pulmonologist

I have asthma and COPD, chronic cough my pulmonologist doesn't seem to help me with any of this. My shortness of breath,he keeps wanting to blame my GERD. My CT scan said minimal interstitial disease and 2 small cysts. I tell him I have not felt good, my cough is increasing, he doesn't even look at me when I'm talking. There's a group of pulmonary doctors,but they are together and I don't know if I could go to any of them.
I sure don't know what to do

I am trying to learn more about pulmonary fibrosis. Ofev made a friend too sick.

I have done some googling but haven't found much information on options. Anyone know any other meds or treatments I could research?

Diagnosed with IPF Nov 20.
Rheumatoid Arthritis June2022
Rheumatologist put me on Orencia infusions (18 monthly infusions so far) - fantastic results so far. Heard there may be some IPF benefit from Orencia - more research needed. Bless you and all our battles for answers.

Yes I’ve heard of Orencia . I’m not in a hurry to add yet another medication to my growing list yet. But will keep Orencia I mind thanks

Try pirfenidon- Enbrient… that’s the other one for lungs my doctor prescribed because Ofeb made me sick too. But so far I’m good on it. Ask your doc about it .. think about it

Today I see my new pulmonologist. I hope my appointment goes well. I am going to ask my questions that my first pulmonologist didn't answer or acknowledge
