My journey with CML
I was diagnosed with CML 14 years ago. After one month on Sprycel (dasatinib), my white blood cell was back to normal. After 6 months, the P210 test detected no CML. Seven years later, my hematologist and I discontinued Sprycel. I have now gone seven more years, with semi-annual blood testing, and no CML. I think I was cured. (P.S. I never had any side-effects from the medication and my insurance covered the entire cost.)

I was diagnosed with CML, Philadelphia positive, in July 2025. Initially prescribed Hydroxyurea and then switched to Danziten. Molecular remission achieved when tested two months later. Minimal side effects. So very grateful to have a compassionate and flexible hematology oncologist who works with me to preserve a good quality of life.
