My girlfriend and I have a parasite infection. To the point where she has videos of hairs shooting out of her fingers from the parasites. The doctors in our small town will not even acknowledge it they would not even look at the video they actually called two police officers and tried to admit her into the psych ward saying she's having a parasitic psychosis. Why could they not just look at the video and clearly would have a different view of the situation we've gone to all the towns around us with the same results I travel for a living and was recently in Alpena Michigan where I went to a clinic they took my money and then told me to go to the emergency room without a refund I called the emergency room they told me to go see my primary you see the vicious cycle they all take your money and nobody helps you. I've got videos pictures you name it how can you not get help in this country I don't understand it I've got trails across my face where they've eaten the soft tissue under my skin and it looks like I've been cut with a knife from ear to ear where they travel. My girlfriend is in even worse condition her started a year before mine I'm only 3 months in she's well over a year dealing with this. It's not an object of money our location I will drive a thousand miles to get help and I will pay cash at the door I just need help we both need help. I've even went so far as to try medication from the local farm store with disastrous results. Who knows the damage we've caused ourselves trying to remedy this off of Internet remedies. We need help please and thank you

Have you been to an infectious disease doctor yet?You would probably have to travel to see one if you are in a really small town. You also need good Insurance and alot of these specialists won't take cash out of pocket for legal reasons. You can pay out of pocket for Holistic Doctors and Functional Medical Doctors though. These types of Doctors can be more knowledgeable than conventional doctors and a Functional Medical Doctor can prescribe you antibiotics and antiparisitic medication.I would just go online and look up Holistic or Functional Doctors in your town or the surrounding towns. These Doctors will definitely take cash amd most people that can't get help from conventional doctors get help from these types of doctors. The Holistic and Functional Doctors have probably seen more unusual cases than conventional doctors too.

@boater, What a horrible experience for both you and your girlfriend! This is way out of my area of expertise so I really don’t have any suggestions. However, I have been able to find other members in our forum going who have an ongoing parasitic infection.
This is the current discussion on Liver Flukes. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/liver-fluke-fasciola-hepatica-and-the-lives-it-wrecks/

There may be some information in the conversations that can point you in the right direction for some help.
Have you had bloodwork done to detect parasites? If there is a parasitic infection it will often show up in blood tests with a high eosinophil level. That can direct doctors to search for inflammation.

Smaller towns may not have the ability to detect, analyze or treat an infection of this scope. Have you tried a large teaching hospital’s Infectious Disease department?
