Hello, @cherelle – wanted to say I'm glad you got some answers. Now that the doctor said the colonoscopy indicated colitis, do you know what kind of colitis it is?

WHAT KINDS OF COLITIS ARE THERE?
@cherelle Glad you have a diagnosis how is he going to help you? Don't forget probiotics they put the good bacteria in your gut.Wish you luck
Hi, @quiteachiver75 – According to The National Institutes of Health, "The two types of microscopic colitis are collagenous colitis and lymphocytic colitis. Health care providers often use the term microscopic colitis to describe both types because their symptoms and treatments are the same."

Good question, @quiteachiver75. There appear to be a number of types of colitis. Here is a website where you can read about many of the types of colitis. Just click on the link, https://www.healthline.com/health/colitis#types-and-causes
Here is an article from Mayo Clinic's website that discusses ulcerative colitis, https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/ulcerative-colitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20353326
Did your doctor tell you what type of colitis you have? If not, it would be a good idea to call or send him a message through the patient portal to find out.
Have you been offered any suggestions by your doctor for treating your colitis?
Me and a close friend of mine was talking about all I have been going through I went to my doctor today and she told me that the Dr at the hospital did a CT scan on me in the hospital and seen that i still have my ovaries in which case is impossible since I had a total abdominal hysterectomy 4 years ago but my friend who is a nurse said that I could probably have ovarian remenat syndrome so I googled it and the symptoms are the same but I go Tuesday to my OB have any of y'all heard of this ovarian remenat syndrome
HI, @cherelle – if you scroll down this page under Causes, you will see a description of ovarian remnant syndrome https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/chronic-pelvic-pain/symptoms-causes/syc-20354368. Also, here is some information on it from the National Institutes of Health https://rarediseases.info.nih.gov/diseases/7297/ovarian-remnant-syndrome.
Your OB appointment is tomorrow, correct? How are you feeling about it?
