My abdominal pain

I just want to say thank y'all for the love and advice currently I am in the hospital yesterday I was hurting so bad I came to the hospital and was admitted I have a ovarian cyst and inflamed colan I have to have an colonoscopy in the morning

Hello, @cherelle - wanted to say I'm glad you got some answers. Now that the doctor said the colonoscopy indicated colitis, do you know what kind of colitis it is?

Hi, @quiteachiver75 - According to The National Institutes of Health, "The two types of microscopic colitis are collagenous colitis and lymphocytic colitis. Health care providers often use the term microscopic colitis to describe both types because their symptoms and treatments are the same."

@lisalucier This is the article I want to post it's for fibro and Lyme disease they are linking these together Can't get it but website is Fedupwithfatigue.com the reading is looking at Epstein Barr virus which I had mono n my late 20,,s I find this interesting have to see if I can find the study

Right now I am on the antibiotics ciprofloxacin and metronidazole and a soft diet and eating probiotics

They have 3 different types ulcerative colitis crohn's disease and c.Diff colitis

Did your doctor tell you what type of colitis you have? If not, it would be a good idea to call or send him a message through the patient portal to find out.
