Music Helps Me

At times music can be helpful. I like the group Anthem Lights...A new discovery for me when I was perusing youtube. A Capella has always been my thing. I love to sing!!!!!

@gingerw I love listening to oldies and some of them have a funny story behind them like this 1957 favorite when I was a teen hurrying home every day after school to watch American Bandstand and hear the latest and greatest tunes. Who doesn't like Elvis 🙂

Wonderful listening (Reading your posts) to the both of you John and Ginger about the past music shows. It does bring back good memories and now I will turn on the radio to the "Oldies" music and enjoy this part of the day as I keep my mind off the urinary track infection pains. Waiting to go to Express Care tomorrow morning for doctor care. Almost like being with people. It is like being on the sidelines reading all the different posts. What a wonderful site this is.

@helenfrances I had to give up grapefruit and grapefruit juice because it interacts with some of my meds. I miss it. Maybe I'll get one for old times sake.

I would have liked the tour but there wasn't time for it. Any idea what drew so many sea lions to the barges/floats? Had tourists been tossing fish on them as enticements? or were they just sunbathing??? vbg I have an Aug. b.d. so am a "sister" lion. smiles

@fiesty76 From what I understand 5hey are sunbathing even on the buoys I've seen one or 2 on them getting out of the ocean here in Long Beach They have boat tours here and one that goes to Catalina. It is 26 miles I'll see if I can find pictures

Lava lamp Homemade. Fill water in plastic bottle 1/8 full ,fill up with oil ,pour from side ,add food coloring ,add 1/2 Alka Seltzer ,Lava lamp try it

I'm going to collect the pages I have colored and mail the the care center where my husband spent his last 2.5 years. I know there are many there who would enjoy a little beauty in their life.
