@snop I agree. It also happens that believing a patient about side effects doesn't fit the "blame and shame the patient narrative" so many of them use to deflect actually having to deal with possibly tricky cases.

@shepsiccle yes, that is so true. Many doctors when they don’t know how to deal with difficult cases deem their patients uncooperative. I have had so many misdiagnosis I have had so many I had one doctor wants to do ablation never even asked about my glucose levels didn’t have background. I was telling him things he said no I haven’t seen that. But you’re rushing ahead. That was our first visit. I was scheduled immediately for an ablation going in both Both legs really the groin. I canceled the procedure, knowing that it wasn’t handled properly. It was just a rush. I have a very difficult problem with pharmaceutical medication. I am blessed to have a pharmacist who is aware of my situation and many times has stopped me and said speak to your doctor and expressed that you have gastrointestinal problems. You should not have this. And so on. God bless you stay well, as well as as we can be..

My cardiologist have told me to take Q10, years ago for muscle discomfort. It’s an enzyme. Look into it and consult your Dr becouse there’s a lot of it now and over the counter.

@1115 Some find relief taking 100 mg capsule of CoQ10 daily, or even twice daily. The regular formulation is widely available on druggists' shelves. It's 'ubiquinone'. It's okay if that's all that sells on local shelves, but Costco and other places sell the better 'ubiquinol' formulation. It's more easily absorbed and used by the body.

You may wish to consider taking 200 mg daily of magnesium supplement, say the citrate or the big-glycinate formula. They are easily tolerated, easily absorbed, and help with both cardiac output and with muscle function in general.

Note that I am not advising or prescribing. I'm not qualified and don't know you. But if you run this past your primary caregiver, you may find that that person agrees, especially as a trial.
