Since receiving 4 Covid vaccines and contracting Covid I have severe lactose intolerance, other reactions to foods, unrelenting mouth ulcers. Biopsy reveals lichen planus. 3 months ago had onset of plantar fasciitis. In the past month have developed severe hip pain , wrist pain and big toe pain all on the right side. It is difficult to walk. Did I say extreme fatigue! I’ve managed to keep active on an exercise bike. I’ve been seen by dentist, GI, Otolaryngologist, allergist and waiting for Rheumatologist. I’m 69 years young and don’t want to hear I’m old. What the heck is going on!!!

I have sensory and motor peripheral neuropathy due to autoimmune-mediated nerve damage from the Covid vaccine. My peripheral neurologist agrees that was the likely cause. I am recovering. There is a Facebook group Neuro V Long-Haulers that is a great source of information and support for people who experience neurological reactions from the vaccines. Most people's symptoms peak around 8 months and then slowly improve. I will not be getting any boosters!

I too have had multiple autoimmune flare ups when I got Covid. I have Long COVID or Post Covid Syndrome. It has affected the up and down of my oxygen levels, especially at night. It is more difficult where I live as I live at 5800 ft. which in general affects your oxygen level. I haved used FDA approved medical grade red light therapy for my lungs and it has helped. I also have arthritis which was managed but when I get covid it can flare my joint pain too. I get gastrointestinal issues that get flared as well. Medications and OTC medications only made my conditions worse for the gatrointestional stuff. I am going to try the red light therapy on that area now. I also used an ice pak on the stomach area and it helped...goes along with something being "inflammed". It is challenging for those of us that have a tendacy toward autoimmue diseases. I just try different things---massage, meditation to relax and alternative treatments as there is no "cure" for the post covid disease, just manangement of them. I too have not have any thing show up in any tests that I have had done, and I had them all. So that now tells me it is inflammation and similar to those who struggle with chronic fatigue syndrome. I now don't eat read meat, little dairy, minimal sugar and stay with an anti-inlammatory diet--put simply--I eat clean. Natural foods that are not processed. It has helped me tremendously. I self-mange my care and have a wonderful female FNP who is willing to try alternative methods to treat my conditions. I find we have to help the medical community and educate them on what is going on with us. If they are not willing to listen and support this condition, then we need to find someone who will. Until the medical doctors have some treatment, the only thing we can expect is test and results as there is no "cure" for long covid symptoms yet, there is only management of symptoms. So I have found that we have to step outside the normal treatment that we relied on to get some relief and find what works for you. What has worked for me will not work for all, so time to do our own investigations.

It’s very frustrating when doctors don’t believe you. I have been very fortunate that the doctors I have been to have not discounted my having had COVID-19 and the host of medical problems I have had unexpectedly after both having Covid and having multiple booster shots. I am not sure whether it’s the booster shots, or having had Covid, but I can relate to everybody’s comments. For me, it has been G.I., respiratory, and polyneuropathy. Scientists and physicians don’t know yet the ramifications of the Covid virus. Are you all going to get further boosters? I am up in the air about that.

I’ll have the COVID vaccine, but I’m on an immunosuppressant. Will also have the flue vaccine at the same time.

Covid VAX made a pre-existing (mild) auto-immune condition infinitely worse. Extensive medical testing shows nothing, but there is definitely something wrong and it gets worse by the day. I rue the day I got that shot. NEVER AGAIN.

I feel your pain! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s in November of 2022. I was very fatigued and also couldn’t sleep. Since beginning taking Synthroid to treat my Hypothyroidism, that all ceased. After that, I contracted Covid and since then (December 2022) have not gotten my taste or smell back. I also don’t ever get hungry, but I also had 18” of my colon resected due to severe diverticulitis. I have never been told, but feel that this may be why I don’t get hungry.🤷‍♀️

I’m a disaster post vaccines. I started my seventh medication yesterday. Gross inflammatory response. Have you had any treatment? I had very obvious swollen joints and muscle loss. Two plus years now and still searching for answers. We all need to stay in touch. Hugs.

Thank you, Lisajade. I am still searching for answers. If there is any new info, I will publish it on this site. What we all need to think about is "Prevention." That is, we should never allow the government (or any authority) to mandate what goes into the body. Whatever happened to "My body--my choice."

Hi there. I never really felt pressured. I’m self employed - so I didn’t have anyone telling me that I had to get vaccinated. I also have a horse. We were fortunate that our barn remained open and I was able to ride and see friends every day. I made the choice to get vaccinated because my father got sick (on the other side of the country - New York) and because we were still in the pandemic, I was afraid to travel and also be in a hospital to be with him. I do understand that many were forced. What I find to be unfair is to have many people suffering from the aftermath of vaccines gone wrong and having a hard time getting doctors who know what to do or even care that our lives may have been ruined by the vaccines. I agree with you that no one should ever be forced to do anything. If I could have 1/2 of my life back, I would be happy. Wishing you the best! Lisa
