Cardiac Stent: Skin Mottling anyone?

Posted by mrsr1234 @mrsr1234, Apr 25 7:07am

So.. About six months post cardiac stent, I developed mottling (see picture for reference) on my left arm; a few months later, it was also my right arm. Now @ six months more, both legs. It doesn't matter if I'm cold (I'm always cold) or not, it's always there. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know what it's from and my docs don't seem to give two craps. Thanks.

Hello @mrsr1234 - sorry to hear about your issues with the skin mottling and lack of guidance from your care team. This article may be worth your time to read through, https://www.jcvaonline.com/article/S1053-0770(08)00183-3/fulltext.

@mrsr1234, is the skin painful or uncomfortable, or is it more of a visual issue at this point?

I'd like to tag @kaydee01 to share their experience with mottled skin, even though it was from a different diagnosis than a cardiac issue.
