It really pulls a lot of that subacious oil and dead skin cells out of your pores. Hopefully a lot of the Demodex are coming out with it. Seems to be working for me, along with tea tree oil and my three-compounded cream. I also use a face steamer to open the pores. Then the Krasr. Then the tea tree oil. Let that sit on my face for a while. Little bit of a vapor burn to the eyes. But it will subside after 10 or 15 minutes. Then metronidezole cream mid-afternoon and again at night. Lots of dinking around. But I don't think there is an easy way to control this thing. Good luck. mm

I totally agree. Tea tree oil and sulphur soap and the best at fighting those nasty little critters. I started getting styes that kept reoccurring. The dr said it was from mites. I was horrified to learn this! I did a lot of research and found out about the benefits of tea tree oil. I bought a tea tree oil face cream and tee tree oil eye cleanser pads from Amazon. They helped. Now, as a preventative measure, I wash my face and eyelashes with sulphur soap to prevent them from coming back.

Wow. Be very careful with tea tree oil around your eyes. That stuff can really sting in you get it in or too close to the eye. My problem with the Demodex is not in the eye area. But around the nose and cheeks.

Amazon has a zillion different brands of the tee tree oil eye cleaning pads. What brand would you recommend? I am a little nervous using anything around my eyes. I've been using Ocusoft Hypochlor recommended by my doctor, and it's somewhat helpful but would like something that works better.

Thank you. I read some of the reviews on Amazon of a couple of brands and a few people suffered very bad reactions and swollen eye lids and intense burning, so I was turned off by that...yikes. My eyes are already irritated most of the time.
Did you experience any stinging or irritation from this Noveha brand?

No, I did not. But, that is not uncommon with tea tree oil. I also have the essential oil and, when I have a skin irritation, I will take a bath and put a few drops in. I find it soothing.
