Missed one nighttime antirejection drugs. ALT and AST levels are high

My doctor told me it’s better to miss one than to throw off the 12 hour routine when I do bloodwork I can’t take my meds that mourning so I have missed many in the past 3 1/2 years and my bloodwork is perfect I wouldn’t worry about it

Yes, I am a kidney transplant patient that had activated BK virus too. They lowered my Cellcept. Do you know your husband's BK viral load currently in his blood (and urine if you also have that number)?

I also feel like that 100% -and my back hurt the 1st week or 2 post...but I'm almost 9 wks post now and a week ago started having bad back/hip pains and all above/below my inscision marks. My team said last week that it's probably nerves coming back & muscles stretching. As far as meds....I had a lot of them pretransplant and now traded for some others. I'm thankful..my fiance takes care of my meds. It's too confusing ...they change dosages, colors, or names. Also my thumb pain from the pad up into the joint(s)- getting that looked this coming week. Hopefully is nothing. I don't think the xplant caused it to be worse. Anyone else??

@smmattocks I bet you are right and it is nothing. Your sharing reminded me that the first 3 months after transplant my wife doled out my meds for me. Mayo started me off on 24 meds (different meds, not pills). But now 2.5 years later I am down to 8 to 9 which I am told I will be on for life. But the by far most important is the TAC. Could get by longer without the rest if that happened for some reason. But anyway your sharing reminded me the first 3 months I was in no mood or state to keep track of all the meds & changes so my caregiver wife took that on. But it was really empowering to me to take that over and do it myself after we got back home. It was a milestone. Congrats on your success 9 wks in !

@smmattocks I had back pains as well after surgery. Not so much anymore but I do get pain below my ribs but I think it's just soreness from doing too much. The pills can get overwhelming at first, I was swallowing 34 pills per day post surgery but now 7 morning and 4 night pills. I bought a smart watch to monitor my pills, health and to log my vitals and that's helped. I've also learned the acronyms to read my blood test results. I'm truly blessed waking up every morning that God has gifted to me. I'll be praying for your pain to get better and a good evaluation of your thumb. Take care bud.
