Micro Clots

Have any of the Long Covid members been involved in reviewing the concept of microclots, as an explanation for ongoing symptoms following infection with Covid 19?

Good Afternoon

I am struggling. I have had 3 surgeries (including four compartment fasciotomy) and a procedure for clotting in my leg since a bout with COVID several years ago. My doctor is sure that this is covid related. I have also been anemic and suffering with bouts of low hemoglobin for over a year now and have to have periodic blood transfusions. I've been tested by just about every specialty possible and no one can come up with a treatment. I am taking two Eliquis and 1 low dose aspirin daily but can't do triple therapy because of my blood loss. Does anyone know of any studies that are currently being conducted that insurance will approve?
I meditate and pray daily, volunteer with two non-profits, paint and spend time with family and friends. Doing everything to remain positive and to give back but some days keeping optimistic is hard.

Sorry it looks like I am being redundant. Today is just one of those days.

MedHelp clinic in Birmingham Alabama. They do virtual appointments and will order the bloodwork to check for microclots

DO you know if they will do a consult or do you need to sign up for the whole treatment program. Unfortunately, insurance does not pay and we have limited resources to pursue alternative treatments.
