Meningioma at base of skull. What is stereotactic radiation like?
Hello friends, it was diagnosed four years ago with a small meningioma at the base of my skull. It has grown a little bit and I won’t be starting stereotactic radiation for two weeks. Is there anyone who can share their experience for this kind of radiation? What are your side effects? Does it affect you cognitively Did you lose your hair? How was the fatigue? Did you have nausea? I am feeling very anxious and would love someone to share with me some of their positive experiences.

When do you start treatment?
I too, might be facing treatment decisions if my skull-based meningioma on the left side grows. My surgeon discussed small doses of radiation as an option. I will be thing of you. Please share your experience. You are not alone.
