Is anyone taking Coreg?
Dr. diagnosed me 2 months ago for HCM. Had me on Metoprolol, 25MG, 1/2 tab, 2X a day. My heart rate went very low this past weekend, 42-47. Dr. changed med to Coreg, 3.25, 1 tab, 2X a day.
I also am experiencing drastic hair loss. Probably stress, but who doesn't have that with this diagnosis?
I am 84yrs young, female. Thought I was in good health until this news.
Any suggestions, comments, appreciated.

Metropolol can cause hair loss.
I am off Camzyos now, awaiting a myectomy. When I was on Camzyos, I didn’t notice hair loss, but I had extreme itching on my scalp. It subsided after a few miserable weeks, but it is why I refused to go from 5 mg to 7.5. It was that intense.
Omg, I can’t believe I’m reading this as I have been experiencing hair loss for the past two weeks (my second month on Camzyos) and couldn’t figure out why. I thought it was hormonal. I’m female, 41.
Which heart medications cause extreme hair loss?
I am on Eliquis
And Cardizem 180 mg
Slow release . My dermatologist thinks it is because it started about 3 months after a cardioversion that was unsuccessful???
