MAC cold water challenge

Posted by lweirdo1 @lweirdo1, Jul 14, 2023

So MAC loves to harbor in the warmth of our lungs. We treat it nicely with hours of nebulizing and such. Well my friends it’s time to “freeze it out”! I’ve traded my hot tea for the most iced in can get. I’m drinking the coldest water, eating ice and ice chips and even traded my Hot Toddy in for a Slurpee. I got so into this new plan that I even stuck my head in the ice box for some nice cold deep breathing. Wow did that feel good! Now I’m no doctor and I haven’t even played one on TV but none of the dozen + medical doctor pros in the Los Angeles area have given me a better idea. Hey that’s mine - what’s yours?!

You'll need to search the forum for phage therapy, but as I recall it's going on in your state, maybe San Diego? Maybe they are clinical trials, unsure. Good luck.

I'm addicted to ice cream and cold water, when I found out I had Mac in this yr ear and had a huge cavity in my lungs I was pretty shocked. That sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure if it really will work. The cold water, etc goes down your throat and esophagus into your stomach. It doesn't touch you lungs, breathing in the cold air though probably does feel good!! I like the idea:)

Seems to work well for me but might not be for everyone!

What I do know is that my doctor's have said that I should be wearing a mask when it's below freezing as it isn't good for damaged lungs. Good luck guys in whatever you decide!
