Lower Cholesterol without raising a1c

Have total cholesterol of 191, HDL of 74, LDL of 102, Triglycerides of 97. But my Lp(a) went from 11 to 40! So I need something to reduce my cholesterol levels. Bu Atorvastatin raises my a1c. What would be a good medication for me?
