Low blood oxygen levels with HCM with obstruction?

Has anyone experienced low blood oxygen levels with HCM with obstruction. I notice during the night my oxygen levels are lower. This doesn't occur all the time.

Have you ever had any sleep studies done? Low oxygen at night suggests snoring and or sleep apnea. Time to visit your doctor and ask to be referred to a sleep clinic.

I don't have that issue. That would explain. I have severe obstruction and was thinking that maybe the reason.

It would also occur during the day if it was HCM. It could be fluid on your lungs which is exacerbated when lying down. Whatever it is, you need to go to your doctor and get their advice.

A visit with your primary would be a great start! Of course we all seem to know our bodies if yku think yku need a cardiologist i would highly recommend a COE for care. @forensicfairy is right a sleep study will more than likely be ordered.
Best of luck

Yes, when I was at Mayo 5/6 for my evaluation for surgery, I did the overnight pulse oximetry. It showed I was under 89% for 172 minutes. I am going back for surgery on 7/15 and have an appointment with a sleep specialist 7/14.
