Losartan and dry mouth and stuffy nose

I started Losartan for essential hypertension last June and have had a stuffed up/dry nose and dry mouth at night ever since. Doctor said it could be possibly due to med and said I could try Amilopodine instead. However that lists those possible side effects as well as swelling and constipation! Nice! Is this just a matter of trial and error? Or pick the lesser poison? Any one have positive experience on Amilopodine?

I took both together and separately and never experienced those SEs. I'm currently taking the Losartan only with neither of the SEs. My stuffy nose is the result of drier air that's common in the winter.

I take both and haven’t experienced any side effects.
