Loop recorder
13 months ago I had 3 incidents of AFIB over 3 months. On the yearly follow-up I wore a monitor for 2 weeks and no afib. Now my doc wants to instill a loop recorder under the skin she tells me after it is installed I can stop taking the Eliquis. Unless something shows up later on. Has anyone had this procedure done and why is she doing it and is it painful

I APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT , DOCTORS HAVE TOO MANY PATIENTS.
I APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT , SOME PEOPLE ARE TOO DAFFY TO ACTUALLY COMPREHEND WHAT THE FACTS ARE.
But, many , if not most of us can read the facts as well as the doctors can .
They can remember those facts . They are depending on the doctor to deliver and monitor all of those facts . Of course , that would mean an extra long time in the doctor's office. So.......who is solving that problem??
