Long Covid & IVIG anyone?
Hello, I first got COVID 19 in January 2021. Long Covid 01/2021-present. I had Covid pretty bad, not hospital bad, but I probably could have or should have gone. I don’t remember much of the last few years or of yesterday for that matter. I have solid dose of LC, migraines, memory, cognitive impairment, chronic fatigue, muscle, joint pain and weakness, unable to stay focused or on task, or make simple decisions, my tongues hurts, and so on… So, my Neurologist suggested IVIG. I was looking around to see if there was a trial for one. No luck there. So my doctor put in an order and I start treatment in June. Do I have any LC IVIG compadres out there that care to share what they know about it the IVIG experience and outcome? I haven’t found too much information online. I hit NIH, YouTube and a few European sites. I would appreciate any feedback.
Thank you 😊
Have a healthy & amazing weekend!

1 ReactionI am praying that my drs order IVIG treatment soon. I switched healthcare systems and the delay in aggressive treatments for my suffering has been slow and torturous
Hi. I’ve been getting IVIG for my long COVID and the other conglomerate of autoimmune diseases long COVID awakened in my body. It has definitely helped me and saved my life. When I started IVIG my immune system was not working, my igg was low, Epstein Barr was reactivated, my wbc was low and all of that has normalized now 2 years later. So, yeah helps me tremendously. Now, the IVIG keeps all my autoimmune systems at bay or at least more manageable. I’m trying to return to work and think I may be able to soon.
