"Triamcinolone acetonide cream is a medium- to strong-potency prescription corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. It works by reducing swelling, redness, and itching."
"Clobetasol propionate cream (0.05%) is a super-high-potency topical corticosteroid used to quickly relieve inflammation, swelling, itching, and redness."
I have had some minor bouts with guttate psoriasis. Clobetasol was first Rx prescribed for treatment, but a second doctor switched me to the Triamcinolone because he thought the clobetasol was too strong. This has worked fine for me.
