Left bundle branch block

I am 86 years old & until a few days ago had no heart issues other than occasional missed beats. Now thanks to a PA in my doctor's office followed by a hospital test (can never remember the name but with goopy electrodes) I am diasgnosed with a Left Branch Bundle Block. My doctor is referring me to a cardiologist which takes forever & meanwhile am on a short course of prednisone to be followed by a med called "fem... " something which sounds frabkly terrifying.

There is a good possibilitu that this has been caused by my age plus COPD which I have had for over years. I also have osteoporosis thanks to my COPD med. But this LBBB scares me a LOT!

My wife died suddenly and unexpectantly on May 5th. She was 58 years old.
She had a Left Bundle Branch blockage, high blood pressure, high chloestrol, High Triglycerides. She was under various medications for the above. She also suffered from Anxiety, tremors, Vertigo, and Nueropothy in her feet.
The week before her passing she broke out in Hives all over her face/scalp/neck area. On thursday before her passing she saw her PCP. He prescribed PREGSIDONE. 3 tabs at once for 3 days, 2 tabs at once for 3 days, 1 tab at once for 3 days.
On the Tuesday she passed, she had taken her 2nd dosage of 2 tabs in the morning. She joined me that day, all day while I was putting in permits for various HVAC jobs. She went along for the ride. No stress. Calm day.
We returned home at 345 pm that day. I was making Fijatias for Cinco De Maya day. She went to stretch out in bed to watch last part of her soap opera and play a game on her phone. Told me to let her know when I was starting so she could cut up vegetables. Approx. 20 minutes later I went back and she appeared asleep, phone still in hands at her lap. She was not breathing. Called 911, instructed how to do CPR. 20 MINUTES and I could not revive her.
I have researched and come to find out her PCP should have consulted her heart doctor on such high dosage. He obviously knew of all of her issues. She had been planning to find a new PCP as she stated he was not listening but had no choice to see him when she broke out in Hives.
Once I have all of her medical records, I am having a medical malpractice lawyer have them reviewed because it is of my belief that he basically caused her death. ANY THOUGHTS???

I’m so sorry to hear about your wife’s passing suddenly at such a young age.
I also have left bundle branch block- a result of surgery to replace a heart valve. After testing the cardiologist told me I don’t need any special treatment.
Regarding prednisone it would be unlikely to cause death when prescribed like this for an allergic reaction.
If an autopsy was performed you might get more information on what caused her death.
Again, I’m so sorry.

Because her death wasn't suspicious, a homicide, suicide, and she wasn't alone, the medical examiner would not authorize an autopsy. I am still having a malpractice attorney review all of her medical records/tests/etc because she was about to change her PCP because he wasn't getting to bottom of other issues going on with her.
She was a calm as a still lake that day. Nothing caused her any high anxiety. Yet she she passed away with 2 pillows behind her head to watch tv and play her game on phone. Just doesnt make sense
